For reps who want live tips during calls, a strong Lessonly alternative is Koachly: it coaches on real calls, has a free plan, and Pro is $49 per user a month. Other good options are MindTickle, Highspot and SalesHood, depending on whether you need courses, content or onboarding.

A quick note on the name. Lessonly was bought by Seismic and is now sold as Seismic Learning. We use both names here, because most people still search for Lessonly.

Seismic Learning pricing and the alternatives

Seismic Learning has no public price list, so you need a quote. MindTickle, Highspot and SalesHood work the same way. Koachly lists its prices: Free at $0, Pro at $49 and Business at $99 per user a month, or $39 and $79 billed yearly.

What Lessonly is good at

Lessonly earned its place by making training easy to build. To be fair, it does these things well:

  • Managers can write short lessons without a big enablement team.
  • AI-powered role-plays let reps rehearse before they go live, with scorecards and AI feedback.
  • Those scorecards help managers spot skill gaps across the team.
  • It sits next to Seismic’s content tools, which helps Seismic customers.

Where Lessonly falls short for coaching reps

Lessonly is built mainly for training that happens before calls. Its scorecards and AI feedback cover practice role-plays, not live calls. So the feedback is about the practice, not the call your rep had this morning.

Someone also has to write and update the lessons. When the market shifts, the course can lag behind. Seismic’s site doesn’t list tips during live calls either (checked October 2026), so check their site if you need that.

Coaching on real calls works the other way round. It starts from what actually happened, then turns that into practice.

The 4 best Lessonly alternatives

1. Koachly: best for practice built from your own calls

Every call gets a Call score from 0 to 100 with 3 fixes. Those fixes turn into drills when you practice with an AI buyer. No one has to write a lesson.

Live coaching shows short, private tips on screen while you talk. Every free account gets one 30-minute live coaching call. After that, live tips come with Pro, at $49 per user a month. Business adds Coach my team, which shows managers who needs help and on what. Check the Koachly pricing page for every plan.

2. MindTickle: best for formal readiness programs

MindTickle combines courses, readiness scores and AI role-play with custom buyer personas. It also scores real calls, gives feedback on each one and helps with meeting prep. Its recorder joins calls as a bot. It suits larger teams that certify reps on a schedule. Prices are not public, so plan for a sales quote. Our Koachly vs MindTickle comparison covers the trade-offs.

3. Highspot: best for content plus training in one place

Highspot is built mainly for sales content, with training, Sales Plays and multi-persona AI buyer role-play alongside it. It also lists real-time objection handling insights. It fits teams where marketing and enablement share one platform. Pricing is by quote. See the Koachly vs Highspot comparison for more.

4. SalesHood: best for onboarding new hires

SalesHood runs onboarding programs, interactive playbooks and live voice role-play with an AI buyer. Managers get a coaching dashboard to review attempts. It suits teams that hire reps in waves. Prices are not public. Read the Koachly vs SalesHood comparison before you decide.

Who should stay with Lessonly

Lessonly is still a good fit in some cases. Stay with Seismic Learning if:

  • You build lessons for many teams beyond sales.
  • You already use Seismic for content and want one vendor.
  • Most of your training happens before reps take calls.

These tools can also work side by side: Lessonly for lessons, Koachly on the calls. Our full Koachly vs Lessonly comparison lays it out.

How to switch from Lessonly to Koachly in 3 steps

  2. Test it. Run a few practice calls with an AI buyer, and upload a recent call recording to see its score and 3 fixes.
  3. Move the team. Upgrade to Pro or Business to connect Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams and turn on live tips. Keep Seismic Learning until your contract ends, or keep both for onboarding.
