How do I export my ChatGPT history?
- In ChatGPT, open your profile menu and choose Settings.
- Open Data controls, then choose Export data and confirm.
- Open the email from OpenAI and download the .zip file. The link expires after a while, so download it soon.
- In Koachly, open Teach Koachly, then Sources, pick ChatGPT and upload the .zip or the conversations.json file.
- Open Suggestions and lock the facts that are right.

What happens to my ChatGPT data export?
What Koachly does with itKoachly reads it and suggests facts, each with where it came from. You review them and lock the ones that are right; only locked facts are used in tips, Call prep, practice and scores. Audio files are deleted 3 days after you finish reviewing. Sources you never review are deleted after 14 days. Koachly never trains AI models on your data.
Only you can see what you upload in your personal space. On a team, managers see team sources. Koachly picks the chats that are about selling and ignores the rest; nothing is used until you lock it.
You can delete a source at any time in Teach Koachly. Facts you already locked stay until you delete them too.

Can Koachly read my ChatGPT chats automatically?
No. ChatGPT doesn't let other apps read your chats. Connect Koachly inside ChatGPT and say "send this to Koachly", or import an export.
Does Koachly import every chat?
No. It reads the export, keeps the chats about selling and suggests facts only from what you wrote about your own business.
